Early Dually 14 Bolt Full Float Disc Brake Conversion Brackets.

This Kit is specifically designed for the 73-88 DRW axle. This will not fit the Single rear wheel axles. See my other listing for the SRW version,

Disc brake caliper mount kit for 73-88 Gm 14 Bolt dually rear axle to use Newer style Gm truck calipers.  These are comprised of 2 parts, the main mounting bracket and a spacer plate. Brackets are laser cut from 1/2" steel and spacers are 3/4' steel. They require no cutting, welding or drilling for install. This listing will include the brackets and bolt only.

I'm always looking for a better way to do things and I just didn't like the idea of using the old GM style calipers that are now 50yrs old. They work fine but I wanted something nicer looking and of a newer, better design.

I settled on GM calipers from 2000-2010 found in 2500 Silverado Rear, 1500 Silverado Front, and some vans. (You will receive a complete list with your parts) They are a 2 piston design with a similar area to the large single piston older models. I liked these because they are much newer, quite common, readily available in salvage yards and relatively inexpensive at the auto parts, have a far better slide design and most of all look much better on a high end build.

This kit uses 1999-2010 Chevy 2500 Rear Rotors

These will ship powdercoated satin black.
